This watch memorizes infrared signal patterns to control your TV, video, stereo and other infrared remote controlled appliances around the house.
Remote control TV functions include:
Power on/off, channel +/-, Volume +/- and direct channel selection.
 
About the learning function:
The Learning Function makes it possible for you to "teach" the watch how to control any device with an infrared remote control system. You can store infrared data for up to 16 functions for instant recall when you need them.
 
How to store learning data:
 ·  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, press (B) to select the learning Mode.
 ·  2. Hold down (A) for one or two seconds until the data memory display appears.
 ·  3. Press a button to select where the data should be stored. When you press a button, the corresponding mark flashes on the display to indicate that the watch is ready to accept data input.
 ·  4. Position the signal emitter of the remote control unit whose function you want to store against the signal emitter of the watch, and press the button of the remote control unit for the function whose data you want to store.
At this time a signal indicator appears on the display to indicate that the watch is receiving the signal.
